GLOWS Peer Review

Work on the GLOWS instrument, i.e. a photometer designed and built at CBK PAN as a part of IMAP heliospheric mission, they are moving forward. In mid May there will be the so-called Peer Review, i.e. a review before the Critical Design Review for the GLOWS instrument. In connection with the review, we will be hosting for two days IMAP’s leaders:

  • Susan Pope – IMAP Payload Project Manager
  • Mark Tapley – IMAP Payload Systems Engineer
  • Joseph Kyle Pavlas – IMAP Principal Specialist, Space Science & Engineering
The two-day review will be held in hybrid form, which will allow scientists gathered in Warsaw to work together with those staying in the USA. Main topic of the discussion during the Peer Review will be the development of the technological solutions that have been used in the GLOWS instrument.
